IJAS' conferences are synonymous with educational and cultural bus tours sponsored by tourism organizations within the host country.
On 19 and 20 January, during our conference at Chiang Mai, our delegates will board buses to explore the region and see for themselves the touristic potential it offers for study abroad programs. The tours will deliver an authentic and in-depth immersion in the heritage and community that make this exotic part of the world what it is.
Many slices of Thailand's past are pristinely preserved for our bus tours to explore. Among other places we will visit: (i) Royal Flora Ratchaphruek, (ii) Wat Phra That Dol Kham, (iii) Wat Chedi Luang, (iv) Thailand's highest mountains, (v) Hill Tribe Village, (vi) Wachiratharn Waterfall, and (vii) Handicraft Village.
The bus tours will be available free of charge to those who register for the whole conference (for $375 or higher). Delegates who register for just one day (US$275) are not eligible to participate in the bus tours.
